If you have been on the Yamanote Line lately and have travelled between Harajuku and Shibuya, you might have seen big banners saying "Say No To Nike".

It's because Nike has bought out Miyashita Koen on Meiji Dori in Shibuya.

Nike is planning to change the park into a sporing complex including a skate park, footsal field, etc...
kinda like Venice Beach.

Current situation of Miyashita Koen is dirty, filthy and suss. Filled with homeless people and junk.
I guess it is a good idea to brighten up the area though poor homeless people because they got kicked out of there habitat.
